The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, is paying an official visit to Greece. Kurti on Tuesday met with Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, where the latter said that the Greek state constantly advocates for visa liberalization, and that it will support and assist Kosovo on the European and Euro-Atlantic path. This is stated in the press release from the Office of the Prime Minister of Kosovo. In this meeting, Kurti is quoted as saying that Greece and Kosovo should strengthen bilateral relations due to long historical ties. Appreciating the role of Greek foreign policy towards Kosovo, Prime Minister Kurti said that recognizing Kosovo's independence would contribute to peace and security in the region. Kurti also stressed the importance of the support of the Greek state for visa liberalization for the citizens of Kosovo.
