The NATO mission in Kosovo, KFOR, today declared that the only way towards lasting peace is for Belgrade and Prishtina to resolve their issues through dialogue and reach a solution that respects the rights of all communities.

KFOR emphasized that it is important to avoid any renewed escalation and resolve this issue peacefully, because according to KFOR, violence has no place in the region.
