KFOR conducted an exercise at Gjakova Airport, called "FROZEN SABRE" 2022, which had to do with the intervention of their troops after negative events which lead to the deterioration of the freedom of movement and threatened the security of the local population.

The Regional Command West (RC-W) units intervened in cooperation with the KFOR Tactical Reserve Battalion (KTRBN) and the Multinational Specialized Unit (MSU).
