The Board of the Kosovo Basketball Federation, at its regular meeting held on 23 December 2025 in Pristina, approved the Work Report for 2025 and the Financial Report for the period January–November, and also adopted the Action Plan, Financial Plan, and Marketing & Distribution Plan for 2026. One of the key decisions was the extension of the mandate of the Secretary General, Ms. Elvira Dushku, in accordance with the FBK Statute.

From a sporting and strategic perspective, the Board appointed Bujar LociN as head coach of Kosovo’s Men’s A National Team for the FIBA EuroBasket 2029 pre-qualification cycle. It also approved the FBK Strategic Plan for the period 2026–2030, as well as the Strategic Plan for the development of 3x3 basketball, aimed at preparations for the Pristina 2030 Mediterranean Games.

The decisions also include changes to the Commission for the Nomination of Game Officials, measures to enhance contractual protection for domestic basketball players in cooperation with FIBA and legal experts, and the approval of a plan to implement a regulation that предусматриes the allocation of 10% of funds by ProCredit Super League clubs for the development of youth categories, which will enter into force in January 2026.
