Continuous rain and snow are causing power outages in some areas. For this, KEDS has engaged about 400 field workers to repair the damage that is being caused to the network as a result of weather factors. The most affected areas are currently: District of Peja, Mitrovica and partly Prishtina. KEDS teams have been working continuously since the late hours of yesterday in order to stabilize the electricity supply as soon as possible. However, weather conditions are making the intervention extremely difficult, as in many areas teams are not being able to penetrate with heavy machinery, because the terrain is impassable from rainfall. Thus, they are being forced to fix the breakdown by physically carrying all the necessary material. KEDS calls on all customers in the affected areas that in case they see a breakdown in the network, never approach them, but immediately call the Call Center on the toll free number 0800 79 100 or write  on social networks.
