Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published the producer price index for the first quarter of this year, which states that the overall producer price index in Kosovo increased by 1.5%, compared to the last quarter of 2020.

According to KAS, the largest increases by branches of economic activities are observed in the metal ore extraction 23.3%; manufacture of metal 5.8%; electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply 2.9%; manufacture of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment 2.4%; manufacture of electrical equipment 1.9%; manufacture of rubber and plastic products 1.2%; manufacture of paper and articles thereof 0.6%; manufacture of non-metallic mineral products 0.5%; and manufacture of machinery and equipment 0.4%.
