Former Chief Prosecutor of Gjilan, Jetish Maloku has been elected the new Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC). Whereas, the new Deputy Chairman of the KPC has been elected Veton Shabani, prosecutor in the Basic Prosecution of Ferizaj. Maloku secured 10 votes in favor and 1 vote against to be elected the new chairman of the KPC. Whereas, Shabani received 11 votes for and none against. The newly elected Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Jetish Maloku, stated that his goals are to increase accountability, transparency, integrity and strengthen mechanisms.
