The United Trade Union of Education, Science and Culture has given a week to the Government of Kosovo to meet their demands, otherwise it has warned to take trade union action. Although the Union had announced the start of the strike on April 20, this did not happen. The chairman of the union, Rrahman Jasharaj, told KosovaPress that the government has a week to meet their demands, otherwise the unions will insist on continuing with joint commitments. Jashari added that Prime Minister Albin Kurti has listened to their demands and will hold consultations with the governing cabinet ministers.
