The anniversary of the insidious entry of Russians into Kosovo (June 11, 1999) has become a major divisive topic in Vladimir Putin's Russia. Russian army generals had a big clash on Russian television over the motives of the Russian troops that entered Kosovo, Serbian media report. In fact, the main reason, "the protection of Serbs" has never been mentioned, arguing that the Russians never do anything without some kind of interest.
