The founder of the Humanitarian Law Center in Serbia, Natasa Kandic, has said that the investigation into “Sarajevo Safari” urgently requires an independent expert assessment, and that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic should be questioned, as he appears in footage that has previously been published.

In a post on the social network X, Kandic also wrote that, in addition to Aleksandar Vucic, it is essential that Vojislav Seselj be questioned as well, in connection with Vucic's statements that Seselj had been responsible for translating for foreigners.

These demands are linked to suspicions of manipulation of evidence and the circumstances surrounding the events documented in Sarajevo, including the role of political and paramilitary actors during the war period.

Meanwhile, the Italian investigation into “Sarajevo Safari” is set to begin with the questioning of the Italian suspect on February 9, 2026.

Everything indicates that both Seselj and Aleksandar Vucic may receive a summons from the Italian prosecutor. Everything also indicates that cooperation between the prosecutors of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia with the Italian prosecutor who has initiated the proceedings is necessary,” Kandic wrote, KosovaPress reports.
