The Hydrometeorological Institute of Kosovo (IHMK) has announced that cloudy weather with sunny intervals will prevail across the country on Friday, while in some areas clouds may bring local rain showers.

According to the forecast, minimum temperatures will range between 7 and 10 degrees Celsius, while maximum temperatures are expected to reach between 22 and 26 degrees Celsius.

Winds will blow from the northwest at speeds of 1 to 6 meters per second.

Regarding agrometeorological conditions, the IHMK estimates that conditions will be favorable for spring crops, while soil moisture is expected to remain at good levels for most plants.

Meanwhile, the Institute announced that on Thursday, several parts of Kosovo recorded very intense rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and hail.

According to IHMK data, the Llapi area was among the most affected. At the Automatic Meteorological Station in Shajkoc (Batllava water supply), 15.8 millimeters of rainfall were recorded, while only about one kilometer away, in the village of Shajkoc, 28.2 millimeters of rainfall were measured, or 12.4 millimeters more.

The IHMK emphasized that the entire amount of rainfall fell within the time interval from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., classifying it as rainfall of very high intensity.
