As of today, KOSTT will operate independently, thus opening a new chapter as a regulatory area within the Albania-Kosovo bloc. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, said that Kosovo's energy independence is a great success for the country. He underlined that the energy sector will have e great support from the Government of Kosovo, because energy stability is a prerequisite for sustainable economic development of the country, for increasing domestic and foreign investment, as well as for the welfare of citizens.
