Hot air masses from Africa aggravate air quality in Kosovo

The Kosovo Environmental Protection Agency (KEPA) has announced that the air quality in our country has deteriorated as a result of hot air masses from North Africa.

During the last two days, an aggravated air quality situation has been observed, especially for Dust Particles PM2.5 and PM10, in some measuring stations managed by the Hydrometeorological Institute of Kosovo, while an aggravated situation has been registered in the stations in Prishtina HMIK and the Rilindja.
