The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, rules out any possibility of cooperation with the Movement for Self-Determination (LVV) for forming a government. He told KosovaPress that the opposition should form the government, and according to him, there is communication for this purpose.

Regarding this situation, Ramush Haradinaj, who ran in the elections in a coalition with the Initiative of Fatmir Limaj, says that there has been no "concrete progress, but there is readiness to move forward," KosovaPress reports. "I believe it's clear that the majority is held by the opposition, and it is understood that after constitutional deadlines, the opposition can form the government. I believe that this is our role as the opposition, to unite and create a government from the opposition. There is mutual communication [with the opposition], there has been no concrete progress because of constitutional deadlines, but I believe there is readiness to move forward," said Haradinaj.

Haradinaj says that the position of AAK is for a government formed by the opposition, while when asked in what case they would cooperate with the party of the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, KosovaPress reports. The vote count from the general elections was completed on Wednesday, March 5th. According to the preliminary results published on the electronic platform of the Central Election Commission, the Movement for Self-Determination (LVV) came in first, followed by the Democratic Party of Kosovo, then the Democratic League of Kosovo, and fourth in terms of votes was the AAK-Nisma coalition.

The head of the parliamentary group of the Movement for Self-Determination said on Thursday for A2CNN that "the ease with which the opposition government is being discussed is not realistic," given, according to her, the numbers and the differences between the political parties, as reported by KosovaPress. Meanwhile, when asked if they were open to cooperating with the Initiative of Fatmir Limaj, which secured three deputies in the Assembly, Kusari-Lila stated that readiness alone is not enough.
