The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has begun his visit to the United States of America with a reception hosted by Republican Congressman from Texas, Pete Sessions.
Haradinaj told his host that, as a gesture of gratitude to the United States for the assistance provided, Kosovo is ready to follow it in every engagement, reports KosovaPress.
“We are proud of our history, of what we have been through and where we are today. And now, I believe we are ready to join the United States in all aspects of their global engagement, including our membership in NATO,” he said. “Yes, we are small, NATO is already present with us, but we are ready to join and we are ready to serve with our sons and daughters anywhere in the world.”Haradinaj has been invited to take part in the National Prayer Breakfast, as well as in other official activities and meetings with political representatives from various countries.
