The Chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Bedri Hamza, today received a delegation from the European Union led by Emanuele Giaufret.

During the meeting, they discussed current political and economic developments in the country, as well as the importance of deepening cooperation between Kosovo and the European Union.

Chairman Hamza welcomed the renewed attention of the EU toward Kosovo and the region, as well as the decision to lift the measures, considering it a positive step toward strengthening partnership and the country’s European perspective.

He emphasized that a stable Kosovo and a stable region are in the common interest of all peoples of the Western Balkans and of the European Union itself.

Hamza reaffirmed the commitment of the PDK to close cooperation with international partners and stressed the importance of continued EU support for Kosovo, especially in addressing economic challenges and advancing reforms.

The meeting also reiterated that Kosovo’s strategic aspiration remains integration into the European Union and membership in NATO, as a clear orientation toward development, stability, and full Euro-Atlantic integration.
