The NATO-led KFOR mission, the Kosovo Police, the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), and the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) have successfully concluded the joint exercise “Golden Sword 2025,” conducted with the aim of strengthening cooperation and increasing readiness to respond to complex security scenarios.
According to a KFOR press release, the KSF participated in the exercise in accordance with its mandate for civil protection, contributing to inter-institutional coordination and the management of emergency situations.
“The conclusion of the ‘Golden Sword 2025’ exercise represents a significant moment. This exercise reflected the readiness of all participating personnel to work together in complex security scenarios and demonstrated the added value that close coordination between KFOR and Kosovo’s security organizations brings to sustainable security in Kosovo and regional stability,” he stated.
KFOR remains committed to creating and maintaining a safe environment for all citizens in Kosovo, in accordance with its long-standing UN mandate.
