NATO’s Mission in Kosovo, KFOR, EULEX, and the Kosovo Police will carry out joint training activities as part of the “Golden Sword 2025” exercise at Camp Vrellë on June 9 and 10, 2025. For the first time, the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) will also participate in this exercise.

“The exercise will test the implementation of crisis management procedures in various security scenarios and will help enhance the ability of different actors to operate together,” KFOR announced.

The exercise will involve over 600 personnel, according to the announcement.

“Golden Sword 2025” is another tangible demonstration of the well-developed and long-standing cooperation between KFOR, EULEX, and the Kosovo Police. For the first time, the Kosovo Security Force will also take part in this exercise, in accordance with its original mandate for civil protection, through training activities on the safe handling and disposal of explosive ordnance and hazardous materials,” the statement said. /KosovaPress
