General Clark is impressed with Kosovo's progress towards democracy

The former Supreme Commander of the NATO Allied Forces in Europe, US General Wesley Clark, who is paying a visit to Kosovo, was received with high military honors by the Minister of Defense of Kosovo, Armend Mehaj. After the meeting, the former NATO commander during the bombing of Serbian targets in 1999, General Wesley Clark said he was happy to be in Kosovo. He said he was impressed with Kosovo's progress towards democracy and freedom. Clark congratulated the citizens of Kosovo on the new government.
