Gender equality is required, Kurti: The responsibility for change falls on men

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said today that women face many challenges, and they are not treated the same as their colleagues and friends, even after death. In marking Women's Day by the ‘Gender Equality Agency’, Kurti said that the responsibility of gender equality falls on men. Meanwhile it was proposed that the names of the women who built the history of the country should be placed on public institutions and spaces.

Kurti said today that within two years they have managed to fulfill 18 of the 36 goals of the programs for gender equality, while adding that women should be present close to pupils and students also as authors...
