The Central Election Commission announced the final results of the first round of Local Elections for Mayors of 37 Municipalities, which were held on October 17, 2021. In Fushe Kosova, the current chairman and candidate of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Burim Berisha, will be in the run-off with the candidate of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Enver Bajçinca. Berisha came out first with 7,966 votes or 49.72%, while Bajcinca is second with 4,098 votes or 25.58%. The difference between the candidates is 3,868 votes. Rrahim Tërnava of the Democratic Party of Kosovo is third while Hasan Ismajli of AAK is fourth.
