The Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, said that only from January until now, 1109 cases of domestic violence have been reported. However, she emphasized that it is still considered a small number of cases that are being reported. In the session of the Assembly of Kosovo, Haxhiu said that the Ministry of Justice is cooperating with the security and justice institutions so that such cases are not neglected. "Just from January until now, there are 1109 cases of domestic violence that have been reported, so only within this period, but my main concern is related to what is still considered to be a small number of cases that are being reported and considering the importance of reporting cases of domestic violence, as well as the taking of actions by the security and justice institutions for these cases, the Ministry of Justice is cooperating closely with the police and the prosecution, and with the courts so that such cases are not neglected ", Haxhiu said.
