Fraud over €1.5 million, four arrested in Prishtina
The Basic Prosecution in Prishtina, in cooperation with the Kosovo Police, has arrested four individuals identified by the initials M.M., S.B., D.R., and B.Z., on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “Fraud in Co-perpetration.”
According to the indictment, the suspects allegedly, with the intent of obtaining unlawful financial gain, defrauded the injured party H.M., causing material damage amounting to €1,578,180. In this case, M.M. is also suspected of “Forgery of Documents,” while D.R. is suspected of “Legalization of False Content.”
The prosecutor has issued a temporary restraining order on the parcels involved in the fraud, which are suspected to have been sold using forged documents, while the Court has ordered 30 days of pre-trial detention for the four suspects.
Investigations are ongoing to fully clarify the case and secure the property involved.
