Since 1999, over 52 million square meters of minefields have been cleared in Kosovo and over 92,000 explosive devices have been removed. This was announced by the Demining Company of the National Guard of the Kosovo Security Force. In 22 years, 23 thousand 700 anti-personnel mines, 3 thousand 120 anti-tank mines and 22 thousand 500 cluster bombs have been removed. These data were published on International Mine Risk Awareness Day."
