The rains that started last night have caused large floods in several municipalities of Kosovo, but so far, the most damaged are those of Gjakova and Rahovec. The mayor of Rahovec, Smajl Latifi, has informed KosovaPress that the floods in this municipality are quite large and that they are evaluating the damages.

The villages of Fortesa and Ratkoc are considered to be the most affected by these floods. Residents demand widening of the riverbed, which is flooding every time it rains and causing material damage to them.
