Police, rescue teams, and emergency services in Mitrovica rescued two families early this morning who had been trapped due to flooding in the “2 Korriku” neighborhood of the city. Meanwhile, efforts are continuing to rescue another family.

During the night, two other families were also helped and taken to a safe location, reports KosovaPress.

The rescue operation carried out this morning was closely monitored by the Mayor of Mitrovica, Faton Peci.
