FIFA President Gianni Infantino has pledged support for rebuilding football infrastructure in Gaza following the destruction caused by the war. He made this commitment after the Peace Summit held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, which was attended by more than 20 world leaders.

“It is very important for FIFA to assist in this peace process and to bring hope through football,” Infantino said. He added that the organization will help rebuild stadiums, pitches, and other sports facilities in Gaza, as well as create programs for children and youth.

FIFA also plans to establish a fund for the construction of mini-pitches and a new “FIFA Arena” in the region, inviting international partners to join the initiative.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Football Association (PFA) has called on FIFA to suspend Israel, accusing it of discrimination and allowing clubs to operate in occupied territories. The issue is still under review by the FIFA Council, and no final decision has yet been made.
