Regarding the energy supply to the Trepca mine and the decline in the performance of this public enterprise, there was a fierce clash with accusations and counter-accusations between the MP Armend Muja and the chairman of the Economy Committee, Ferat Shala.
During the reporting to this committee of the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, the MP from PDK, Shala said that Trepça has been working at a loss for a year.
Regarding the situation in Trepça, MP Muja said that operations with losses have been happening since 2016.The Vetëvendosje MP pointed his finger at Shala, saying: "You have destroyed Trepça", precisely because of this situation.
Referring to the recent case of the miners stuck in the Trepça mine for a few hours, the chairman of the Commission, Shala, demanded responsibility from the Minister of Economy, regarding the electricity supply in Trepça.
