The Croatian news agency Hina hosted female representatives of European news agencies which are members of the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA) in Zagreb on Wednesday, and the meeting resulted in the adoption of a declaration calling for gender parity on the boards of media organisations and EANA itself.

EANA was established in 1956 and brings together 33 news agencies. Representatives of nine news agencies gathered in Zagreb on Wednesday, on the occasion of International Women's Day, initiating a working group on empowerment of women in media organisations and EANA itself...
