Kosovar judoka Laura Fazliu managed today to secure Kosovo the second medal in the European Judo Championship "Bulgaria 2022". Laura Fazliu has managed to win the silver medal in this European, after she was defeated in the final by the British judoka, Gemma Howell, KosovaPress reports. In the category up to 63 kilograms, in the first round Fazliu defeated the judoka from Israel, Kerem Primo, while in the second round she scored a victory against the British, Lucy Renshall. In the quarterfinals, Fazliu defeated the judoka from the Czech Republic, Renata Zachova, while in the semifinals she scored a victory against the Spaniard, Cristina Perez Cabana. In the competition for the gold medal, Fazliu was defeated in the final by the British Howell, thus securing another medal for Kosovo in this European, respectively the silver medal.
