The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) has unanimously approved the joint bid of the Volleyball Federation of Kosovo and the Albanian Volleyball Federation to host the 2027 European Volleyball Championship. The decision was confirmed through an official letter from CEV President Roko Sikiric, addressed to Presidents Bahri Gjinovci and Erlind Pëllumbi.

The tournament will take place in Pristina and Tirana, with the grand final played in Pristina, featuring 16 national teams from across Europe.

This decision follows the great success of the 2026 U16 Girls European Championship, demonstrating that Kosovo and Albania are capable of organizing high-level events for young volleyball players.

The championship will showcase the most promising talents in European volleyball, giving future stars the opportunity to shine on an international stage.
