EU: Calm must be restored urgently or there will be consequences

The European Union has called on Kosovo and Serbia to immediately and unconditionally take measures to de-escalate, stop using divisive rhetoric and refrain from any further uncoordinated actions. The EU emphasizes that they are ready to implement resolute measures. Failure to de-escalate the tensions will lead to negative consequences.

The high representative, Josep Borell, has issued a statement, where, on behalf of the EU, he has strongly condemned the violent acts against citizens, KFOR troops, law enforcement and media in the north of Kosovo.
