The Kosovo Police (KP) has said that the implementation of the operational plan is being implemented in accordance with the previous stages in order to create a safe and calm environment for citizens during voting in the four northern municipalities.
According to a media release, the Police say that a sufficient number of police officers have been engaged in the April 23 elections.
"The aim of the KP, as always, is to guarantee the free exercise of the right to vote, to undertake preventive actions against negative phenomena and criminal activities that would in any way endanger security, peace and stability in the country", say the Police.
