Dreshaj: Reducing gastronomy’s working hours contributes more to reducing energy consumption than pandemic management
The MP of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Shemsedin Dreshaj stated today that the Government should not take tougher measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, but to act with sanctions for non-compliance with standard measures. Dreshaj, in the session where the debate on the situation with the pandemic is taking place, said that the government's decision to stop at the border people who do not have the third dose of vaccine is not appropriate.
"The state through its apparatus should act with sanctioning measures for non-compliance with standard measures to prevent infection and not making them tougher them with additional measures. The reduction of gastronomy’s working hours and cerfew contributes more to the reduction of electricity consumption than to the management of the pandemic. The pandemic is not fought with curfews, but with health measures. It is much more reasonable to ask for a vaccine passport in shopping malls, schools, in various places, which in Kosovo has not been done and is not being done", said Dreshaj.
