The Kosovo national boxing team is again facing problems for participating in world championships from countries that do not recognize the state of Kosovo.

Since January, the boxing federation has submitted the complete documentation for participation in the World Championship, which will be held from March 14-26, 2023 in New Delhi-India.

Although the Olympic Committee of India and the Boxing Federation of India blame the Indian Government, namely the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India, for not providing visas for the Kosovo National Boxing Team.

In addition to FBOXK, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Kosovo have been involved in this process for providing visas for our athletes.

Although the Kosovo team was scheduled to travel tomorrow, March 13, there has been no positive response to date.

Kosovo in this world championship was expected to be represented by the boxer, world medalist Donjeta Sadiku.
