Donjeta Sadiku fights for another victory in Sofia today
Kosovar boxer Donjeta Sadiku achieved an important and convincing victory at the Strandja International Boxing Tournament, held in Sofia, Bulgaria, defeating Czech boxer Barbora Maxova by a unanimous 5-0 decision in the 60-kilogram category.
Today, Sadiku will face Ukrainian boxer Veronika Korets in the quarterfinals, fighting for a medal, at 18:00 on Ring “A” in the 60 kg category.
“Coach Marjola Sallauka is optimistic and believes that this year Donjeta will continue the tradition of success, bringing Kosovo the gold medal from the prestigious ‘STRANDJA 2026’ tournament,” the Boxing Federation of Kosovo stated in a post.
The 5-0 victory in this prestigious international tournament demonstrated Sadiku’s high level of form and serious preparation.
