An awareness campaign against domestic violence has been organized in "Zahir Pajaziti" square. At the end of the campaign, it was said that more than 20,000 informative brochures were distributed and lectures were held in high schools. However, despite these campaigns, the judges and prosecutors who are not working based on their competences have been criticized. Among other things, it was announced that only for the first six months of this year, 1300 cases of domestic violence were reported.

This campaign was organized by the Center for Legal Aid and Regional Development (Clard) and the Kosovo Institute for Justice within the project "Education against domestic violence and sexual harassment".

Anton Nrecaj from Clard said that within the framework of this campaign, informative brochures were distributed and they talked to citizens from all municipalities to inform them about the consequences of domestic violence.
