Judoka Distria Krasniqi has made history at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, winning the gold medal.

Distria in today's final faced the Japanese Funa Tonaki. Distria started the competition in the 48 kg discipline, against Gabriela Chibana from Brazil and it took only a few minutes to easily beat the opponent with Ippon. With Ippon, she also defeated judoka Lin Chen Hao from Chinese Taipei, for 19 seconds.
