Discrepancies in vote counting, Prizren Prosecution intensifies investigations

The Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution in Prizren, Petrit Kryeziu, today met with the National Election Coordinator, Laura Pula, as well as the manager of the strategic project “Protecting the Vote,” Besim Kusari.

The meeting was held at the premises of the Basic Prosecution in Prizren and focused on the development of preliminary investigations regarding discrepancies identified during the vote counting within political parties for deputies of the Republic of Kosovo in the Prizren municipality region.

According to the statement, the meeting also discussed the engagement of the State Prosecutor in protecting the free vote of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as continuing investigations aimed at collecting evidence and securing necessary testimonies, in accordance with the applicable legislation.

The Basic Prosecution in Prizren reiterated its commitment to ensuring the integrity of the electoral process and strengthening the rule of law.
