The working group of the Council of the European Union on visas has gathered today in Brussels in a two-day meeting, where the discussion on the liberalization of visas for Kosovo is also on the agenda. After the confirmation of the Czech presidency that they have included France's request in the inter-institutional document for visa liberalization, doubts have been created about positive results for Kosovo.

Those familiar with the European integration process say that France's insistence, that the entry into force of an eventual decision to liberalize visas for Kosovo should be conditioned upon the strengthening of the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS), has brought skepticism about granting of the green light for lifting the visa regime...
