The Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and President of the Socialist Party of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, is in a critical condition, announced Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in front of the Pulmonology Clinic at the Clinical Center of Serbia, where he visited Dacic along with members of the government.

“We visited together the Deputy Prime Minister and president of the SPS. It is a difficult situation, but we trust the doctors, we trust him, and we are praying for him,” Vucic told Tanjug in front of the Clinical Center of Serbia.

“He is currently on mechanical ventilation – a ventilator. He is receiving everything he needs, all the medications, the therapy. With the ventilator, which is a treatment method, we are buying the time needed for the medications to take effect, and we are fighting for his life. Severe pneumonia and the fight for his life,” said Dr. Popevic.
