"We are urging the Kosovo government to do certain things, sometimes they listen sometimes not", said the ambassador of Germany to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde. He emphasized that Kosovo should do its homework and move forward in the process of normalization of relations with Serbia. This is what he said in the discussion that was organized by the Council of Ambassadors of Kosovo for the 15 years of diplomatic relations of Kosovo with different countries. The ambassador of France, Olivier Guerot, was also critical, saying that the key is normalization.
The German ambassador, Jorn Rohde, said that the partnership between Kosovo and Germany is unique, but as he added, Kosovo should listen to the advice of its partners.
Rohde added that the way to change the position of the five non-recognizing countries is to move forward in the process of normalizations of relations with Serbia.
Also, the ambassador of France to Kosovo, Olivier Guerot, requested that Kosovo engage in normalization, since according to him this is the key.
The former ambassador of Kosovo to Brussels, Bernard Nikaj said that the future of Kosovo is in the European Union and the Euro-Atlantic organizations.
Meanwhile, the former ambassador of Kosovo to Washington, Avni Spahiu, spoke about Kosovo's relations with the United States of America, which he said are well preserved.
In the discussion about the 15 years of diplomatic relations of Kosovo with different countries, other ambassadors of Kosovo to different countries have also participated. /Sh. Pajaziti
