Cooper reaffirms full support from US Department of Defense to Minister Mehaj
Following the meetings at the US Department of Defense at the Pentagon, the Minister of Defense, Armend Mehaj with his delegation, was received by the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, Laura Cooper, and then at the level of delegations held bilateral consultations on defense issues. On this occasion, Cooper, expressed her high consideration for the successful developments in the field of defense, thanking Minister Mehaj in particular for the support of American forces in the process of accommodation of Afghan refugees.
Cooper on behalf of the US Department of Defense, confirmed the support for Kosovo, as a partner and exporter of peace at the global level, proved by the co-landing in the peacekeeping mission alongside the US military in Kuwait, as well as its major role at the regional level.
