The general secretary of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Vlora Çitaku, has called the current government corrupt, while mentioning scandals with state reserves, single-source contracts, non-declaration of assets and misuse of official duties.

Çitaku emphasized that in this mandate, the current government has had more indictments against its officials than work done, as she says, for the benefit of the citizens.

Meanwhile, she called the arrest of the former head of KEK, Nagip Krasniqi, "the tip of the iceberg", which according to her has deep roots in important exponents of this power, which today resembles an energy mafia.

She said that the PDK demands accountability and responsibility for the scandals that require answers, including the one with electricity, state reserves, non-declaration of assets and single-source contracts.

The general secretary of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Vlora Çitaku, after the indictment against the former head of the KEK, Nagip Krasniqi for abuse of official position, has demanded accountability from all the actors involved in this scandal.

Çitaku, in a press conference, said that the PDK gives full support to the justice bodies, which have undertaken the discovery of the misuse of millions in the last three years in the field of energy.

In addition to these, at the conference, Çitaku was asked about PDK's positions regarding the opening of the bridge over the Iber River.

She declared that the opening of the Bridge over the Iber River should be done in coordination with the allies, because according to her, this is the only way we can reap success and victory.

Çitaku said that the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, should be prudent and have coordination with the allies for the opening of the Iber bridge, as according to her this is a small battle compared to what Kosovo has been through.
