As part of the 11th edition of the "Chopin Piano Fest Prishtina" festival, Hungarian pianist Gergely Kovács performed tonight, who was said to be the winner of many international awards.
The Ambassador of Hungary to Prishtina, József Bencze, expressed his happiness with the holding of this festival in the capital, and he confirmed the support of the institution he leads.

“I really hope that our embassy will contribute to the success of the Chopen Festival. Thank you for the invitation. In 2021, the world of music pays tribute to the memory of the global celebrated Hungarian pianist György Cziffra, and his 100 anniversary of the birth was included on the list of anniversaries recommended by UNESCO”, he said.
The artistic director of the "Chopin Piano Fest" festival, Lejla Pula said that this festival will last 1 month, and will reveal artistic values for all fans of classical music.
Pula: Every year we have had a Hungarian pianist who has been introduced to the Kosovar public
"We have a tradition of cooperation with the Hungarian Embassy, 11-year tradition, every year we had a Hungarian pianist who was introduced to the Kosovar public. It is a wonderful cooperation; in fact, they are also interested in revealing their values in Kosovo. Today we have a young pianist, the laureate of many international awards and a famous pianist," she said.
The "Chopin Piano Fest Prishtina" festival has started its 11th edition on May 31 and will last until June 30.
This festival is dedicated to the mastery of piano interpretation and the most prominent world and Albanian piano repertoire.
This 11th edition of this festival was scheduled to be held last year but was canceled due to the pandemic.
