CEC says that all polling stations have opened on time

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that in all polling stations in Kosovo, the process has started on time. 

The spokesperson for this institution, Valmir Elezi, stated that the election materials were distributed on time to all polling stations. 

He also called on all citizens with voting rights to exercise their right to vote. "In the early hours of the morning, the election materials, including ballots for all polling stations, were distributed. 

Based on the information we have received so far, in all the polling stations in the Republic of Kosovo, in 903 out of a total of 2,533 polling stations, the voting process has started for the elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo. In addition to the regular voting in these polling stations, as you know, the CEC has also designated 38 conditional voting centers, one for each municipality, with a total of 56 polling stations. The CEC calls on citizens with voting rights to exercise their constitutional right by voting in the upcoming elections for the Assembly of Kosovo," said Elezi. 

The number of polling stations is 941, of which 903 are for regular voting with a total of 2,533 polling stations, and 38 conditional voting centers, one for each municipality, with a total of 56 polling stations. The number of citizens with voting rights is 1,970,944.
