CEC: All polling centers have opened on time
All polling centers for today’s early elections have opened on time, said the CEC spokesperson, Valmir Elezi.
He stated that in the early hours of the morning, all electoral materials, including ballots, were distributed on time.
“In the early hours of the morning, the electoral material, including ballots, was distributed on time to all polling centers. We also inform that, based on information received from the CEC, the voting process for the early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo has started in all polling centers across the Republic of Kosovo,” he said.
Elezi added that the voting process is taking place in 948 polling centers, while the number of citizens with the right to vote is 1,999,205 voters.
“Today, the voting process will take place in 948 polling centers with a total of 2,614 polling stations, of which 910 centers with 2,557 polling stations will enable regular voting, and 38 other centers, one for each municipality, with 57 polling stations to enable conditional voting,” Elezi added.
In addition, Elezi mentioned that in recent days there have been contacts with KEDS regarding the supply of electricity during today.
