The Chamber of Doing Business in Kosovo has welcomed the inclusion of the amendment for the exemption of raw materials from VAT on local purchases, but requested that its validity be even after the repeal of the Draft Law on Economic Recovery.

Meanwhile, businesses supplied with raw materials demanded that the VAT rate be reduced to 10 percent in domestic sales, because this would increase productivity by 50 percent and would double the number of employees.
