Garbage has become a concern for all citizens of Prishtina. The lack of containers makes the situation even worse. While in many cases, where there are containers, they are almost overflowing most of the time. The citizens are unhappy, while the Regional Waste Company "Pastrimi", says that they are doing their best. The Municipality of Prishtina says that they are aware of the lack of containers, but the containers’ purchase is included in the 2023 budget.

Citizens are not happy with what they see every day on the streets of the capital. Ozan Mesherkan is one of them. He lives in the neighborhood "4 Llulla" and says that garbage is a real problem because there are not enough containers. He also demands more care from businesses.
