Careless driver fatally strikes pedestrian in Fushë Kosovë
One person has lost their life as a result of a traffic accident that occurred on Sunday at around 20:35 in Fushë Kosovë.
According to a police statement, the tragedy is suspected to have happened when the driver of a vehicle with local license plates, while operating the car, struck a pedestrian due to negligence.
Relevant police units and an emergency medical team responded to the scene, where the victim was pronounced dead.
By decision of the prosecutor, the suspect has been arrested and placed in detention, while the victim’s body has been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine (IFM) for autopsy.
Police announced that investigations have been launched to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
